    Yea, why should the law enforcement organizations pay $499 for it when they can just wait for the reverse engineered freebie to show up for download on the Internet? Just a matter of time.

    These sorts of tools are created all the time. Security professionals use them in penetration tests all the time.... there's a whole LEGITIMATE industry around this.
