  • Yes, gotta love Screen Sharing! I have my music on a remote hidden away iMac that is connected to amp and speakers and provides the music in my apartment, with Screen Sharing I can access iTunes remotely, it's so cool! Just one thing that would make my life complete; A way so I could instantly launch the "remote iTunes" like it was a native app without going about to launch Finder and navigate to the iMac and there launch the Screen Sharing window. Its kinda of funny this thing to never be satisfied. Before Leo I had to get up and get to the iMac and manually select music, lower the volume etc...now it's just a few clicks but I can not let go of the idea of doing it with just one click :). Any suggestion? Anyone?
  • Hmm,

I'm not sure if there is a way to do that natively. Now, if you wanted to get geeky, you could always log in to your remote machine via ssh, and do it that way... maybe i'll write up a quick howto article on that. You can read my article here
  • Maybe a script would do...I just checked Automator and found that u could very well launch the Screen Sharing.app...just have to figure out how to make it launch with the iMac...no luck yet...
