You should reword to say they attenuate noise, not cancel it... as cancellation is an active process.

There is a canadian company called sonomax that makes noise-attenuating ear buds that are custom molded into your ear in about 10 minutes... I think they only sell them at a few Virgin Megastore locations right now, and they have a high entry price-point, but they seem pretty legit.

I bought 2 pairs of skullcandy ear buds from the ink'd line and then broke after just a couple of weeks!
